Typically the temporal lobe is the lobe associated with memory but the frontal lobe/prefrontal cortex involves short term memory & memory retrieval—and yes factors of your lifestyle will affect it. If you’re college age, taking an intro to psych course teaches you a lot about beyond your genetics, your lifestyle choices affects the way your brain grows and works (see neuroplasticity). Without science, think of it logically— if I watch scary movies 100 times, scary movies seem less “intense” to me as they were initially. Same with how porn addiction affects men’s minds. No judgement whatsoever but pls stay diligent about how you consume bl particularly yaoi! Consuming any sort of sexual content in unhealthy ways/turning into an unseen addiction can seriously impact you for the worse and damage your real life sexual/romantic relationships.
