i think it’s because pilgyeon wanted soongap in his entirety. he never wanted soongap to feel the need to have another person in his life, including for romantic/sexual reasons. he also felt that soongap and his aunt were the only people to truly love him, and i think as he got older he confused that feeling with something perverted. and when he rapes soongap, he wants soongap to enjoy it and he wants to hear soongap moan. he knows that other men have been able to do that, so he wanted it for himself as well because he believes he is entitled to all of soongap’s affection in every form.
