MC: first season MC is well rounded. smart, wary, lonely, and still endearing. there is an atmosphere of maturity as she got closer to her family. second season MC is clumsy, but definitely nicely drawn when she's mad. (i just dislike how she doesnt commit to making sure she's not looked down on—she's become the typical high school protag with bark without bite)
Plot: originally a neglected and abused child who had suicidal tendencies, she succeeded but a soul resided on her dead body. the new soul had the same abusive childhood, but had experienced change during her ealy adulthood so she does the same in the body (it has more or less accountability against her grandpa and brothers who overlooked her abuse)
second season is more like academy arc which lost half the maturity and intrigue that the first season had. and she lost her "reporting" attitude as if she didnt inform her family about the things she encountered, esp since her academy problems are related to her family

FL: dense, naive, knows the novel's plot and talks big about protecting luca or even getting to know the antagonist (as if she hasn't already read the novel and knows exactly how he does shit)
Novel's MC: tragic character but gives me the idea that he had time travelled to the past as a wish that could've triggered his aunt to being possessed by an otherworlder—mature, dragged his aunt with him to keep an eye on her
ML: dense romantic who is powerful. drawn hotly but has an actual boring personality except being infatuated by the FL
Antagonist: plain looking but good with his words, boosted by the fact that the FL is a total idiot thinking she could deal with him despite having the most obvious intentions
Overall: It's the FL that ruins the story in all honesty. she wanted to make it up to Luca but doesnt get into this apologetic phase. doesn't focus on building a relationship with luca but rather impose expectations and always refer to the novel. referring to the novel wouldve been nice and all, but again, there's this wtf moment when she acts all smart as if she didn't just bite into the antagonist's bait—

FL: self-sacrificing for the ML's sake, headstrong yet also timid
ML: Violent, Possessive, swayed by the FL's affection (tragic villain)
FL's Family: Doting and supportive
2nd couple: supporting characters highly linked to the novel world
Antagonist: Vile, Mysterious, dangerous being
Atmosphere: Traumatic (esp the ML's life) and Dark Romance
Special Tag (Time&Dimension): HUGE SPOILER, but it's a key concept to how deep the MCs relationship go
