Alot of people are shitting on the character but if you think about it, he's afraid of loving. He was never taught how love is, and with his father always telling him he would be a whore it got to him. You need to look at the physchological affects from his childhood, he was afraid, unsure of his feelings. So yeah, if I grew up in a household where all I was told that I would be a whore everyday, it would stick. A child's mind is easily influenced, his childhood was influenced that there isn't love but just intercourse and crude endings between a relationship. Chapter 40 shows his child mind, influencing his current. Running away what he assumes would hurt him, but only hurting himself more. (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I understand this but it seems alot of people don't. They wanted a reunion where Hyesung magically changed the moment he saw Byul. I guess it's what we are used to with other stories but with this Hyseung as alot of emotional trauma in his past. I really had hoped for more time as there is only 3 chapters left I think it will feel rushed :(
Empathy flew out of the window...i feel bad for buyl and dojin but with hyesung past i understand why he would react this way. He never felt he had choices, dojin also didn't give him choices. The only way this family will be together is when hyesung becomes independent.
I can agree with a few parts. But trauma can start to react, sure he may have been fighting the sense of being a whore, but his brain grew weak after being told he was loved? Idk, but I agree that we should look at both the optimist and pessimist view points.
Agreed. Though, I do think there might be a chapter where it's just him thinking out his feelings, letting his guilt run free, letting that trauma released. We can only hope :(
This story caught the attention of me when it had mysterious characters that you wanted to know more about. Usually, I would be confused when I don't have enough information of the characters. But the author has such well thought writing of the plot it is so beautiful. The way they depict how the two are suffering, one who used to desire love, the other who suffered because of unwanted "affection". The beauty of the portrayment and art is absolutely extravagant. This recent chapter has me in tears. How this relationship came to be. How this unwanted affection was now a longing desire for him of wanting this affection. It shows how he has finally developed a wanting love that is mutual with the two. And that even if all the things around him are suffocating his lungs, it isn't suffocating, blinding him from what his heart beats for. Beautiful and intelligent story.
You guys shitting on Byung but if he was the protagonist you guys would be rooting for him. It's all about perspective-
If the protagonist went around sending everyone who got close to them to the hospital I doubt most of us would be rooting for him but then again ig everyone has different tastes
If he was the protagonist of another Manga, yeah many would root for him for the smutt. But this is a fluffy + erotica manga, psychos are despised.

Finally! A well depthed story. And the two characters do switch. My brother is in a gay relationship(we are highly close to even talk about our sex life)and he told me that they switch it off from whichever is in the more dominant mood. He says that his online gay friends also change who tops and who bottoms naturally. Most stories I read I am looking for that time to time of shifting roles during the plot. This story definitely hints whichever is the dominant one gets to top. Highly appreciated this type of manga got onto this site!
