I agree that what Leo did can be pretty hurtful however there’s a huge difference between actively trying to be mean and hurt another person and just being genuinely being dumb and tone deaf. You can see even rigth now he still doesn’t understand the situation Like JJ is just trying to hurt him and getting frustrated that it’s not working but Leo isn’t feeling hurt bc he doesn’t think JJ has bad intentions. He is just a Himbo
It isn't a matter of being dumb. A lot of people warned him to treat his boyfriend better but he didn't care enough to hear or self reflect his actions.
He WAS taking his boyfriend for granted and asking him to be his sex toy ... that literally screams " you are not important enough for me to care "
JJ is just being petty trying to get his attention by being hurtfull ... but like you said Leo is not taking the hint because he is still putting his own feelings first despite loving JJ deepdown.
In real life they definitely should break up lol JJ is petty and Leo is too immature.
No matter how I try to see it, I just don’t see an ending where Charlotte can leave the mansion. Best case scenario Dietrich can come and go as he pleases but charlotte waits for him at home. I’m so invested
Maybe once she gains like 100% sync or autonomy then she would be able to walk out on her own?
Sorta like how in other stories, the souk needs to get used to the body. I could see it maybe being an indicator for how well her soul adjusts in her body. And at the end, she gains all of charlotte's memories and can leave. Idk
But I feel like that sync thing is like a trap or a double edged sword... like 100% sync might break her (the transmigrated MC) and the actual "Charlotte" might take over. And we all agree "Charlotte" is the lady of the house, yes?
This manhwa is interesting because the lore man, THE LORE of the "game".
I'm starting to think that this manwha might pull the "oh yes she transmigrated BUT it's okay because the transmigrator is the OG FL just in another life." The way the person who got possessed... Eric, I think was the bandit's name, reacted to her obliviousness tipped me off. (I'm like 90% sure that no matter how they take Charlotte's arc the green eyes guy is her brother or the devil figure) It's as if they've done this a million times before, and now she's without the script. And while having a disruptor would be a good read, the whole cyclical, repeating ouroboros-esqye nature of the house itself, of the history and the emphasis on HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO, again and again, the distinct time passing... Idk. This could be a case of the world building is just more fleshed out after transmigration, but I'm starting to think that the world Charlotte is in now isn't a game. Maybe her mind laid dormant and the house broke her, so she made up her other life. We'll see!
Spoiler
- so she is crazy. But my personal Theory is that her love is so strong that she cannot contain it. It is very sad to see her suffer so much because this is just the beginning she suffers throughout the whole story. She never gives up the thought that John loves her. She’s so secure about it, And most she might think that he’s a coward, but she always faith in his love.
So yes, John does love her. He only admits to it after she is dead.
However, before she dies, he explicitly says That he wishes to be with the one he loves. And that he cares for her deeply and wishes for the war to be over to live his life with her. But he never says that his love is for Tite.(Not before she dies)
So an Oracle came down and stated that in order to get rid of the demons either the pope had to die or his lover. Everyone thought that his lover was some brunette girl That he hung out with sometimes.
Of course the pope offered himself as sacrifice, but nobody wanted him to die because he was their leader, so they decided to kill the brunette girl without his consent. When he found out about this he rushed over there in order to stop it because he knew it would be un useless sacrifice because she was not the girl that he loved, once he got there, he realized that the person that they were actually sacrificing was the girl that he loved, the protagonist .
He couldn’t actually do anything about it bc the flames for sacrificial rituals could not be put off .He started screaming and crying, and once she died, the monsters disappeared. John accepted that he loved her and that there was no need for more sacrifices because she was the one.
Nobody Believed him, Everyone thought that he had so much love for the people that any sacrifice would have been accepted.
Finally, at the end the brunette girl is seen walking down the street when she sees a locket that belongs to the pope that fell while he was struggling to free Tite from the ritual. She opens it out of curiosity and inside sees a piece of hair from the protagonist and a little handmade drawn picture of her. So in the scene where she cuts her hair, if you look closely, you can see that he walks away with his hand closed after grabbing some of her hair, that’s because he kept it.
It’s pissing me off the people saying they’re dropping it because the male lead is trash. He’s not the male lead. He’s the main character. He’s the same as all those villainess manhwas and honestly it’s so refreshing to not only see the male PoV but also to see someone who actually did horrible things in the name of “love” change and grow. You whine when characters are boring, you whine when they are complex, you whine when they show growth, you whine when they are Perfect. Give it a break.
The people in the comments apparently don’t know what character developing is. I read more chapters and it focuses on how she realizes how naive and self centered she was. It’s realistic to be that way and she wasn’t downright awful just lived in her little bubble bc she was too cuddled. She didn’t even like other nobles, she wasn’t just classist, she was inconsiderate of others in general bc that’s all she knew.
This is such a hidden gem. Usually, this sort of manhwas become really repetitive and really boring and the fighting scenes are just so dull.
But here they manage to keep it entertaining, I don’t just mindlessly scroll, I actually read how they are fighting bc the plan doesn’t just consist of strong guy attacks, gets hurt, gets mad and somehow breaks their limit and wins.
So Fresh. So underrated.
Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it breaks my heart but it’s not predictable and doesn’t fall into the usual cliches. They keep finding ways to make it feel fresh. Does anyone know where I can purchase it?
Rightttttt
