I was also struggling very much while reading this, and you won't finish to suffer for many chapters again.
But I can't say anything to you for my part, because it can spoile the rest of your reading and the intrigue. Have the patience to read it by yourself, won't you lose a bit of interest if someone tell you what will happen ? Conor is a strong guy, I can assure you.
Dark Heaven is a manhwa that deals with serious issues and mature themes. Sure, there's a lot of romance and sex but it retains its originality throughout. I feel it all depends on personal taste and what you mean when you say 'better'. I caught up on this manhwa in two days and it is one of the best I have come across. I think its up there with manhwa like Killing stalking and At the end of the road.
The bullying and hate crimes are quite bothersome but that is what the drama is about afterall, to highlight and remove such wrong(and in my opinion fantastically stupid) ideologies that exist in society. I hope you can appreciate the spirit of the manhwa even if it is not to your liking :) Peace.
Don't worry I am enjoying this manhwa. What I mean of "better" was for Connor. will there be a time in which he can truly be happy? with just a few chapters i already saw how his dream was crushed, how kids of the same age or maybe a bit older treat him differently just because he is half korean and how that did not stop as they grew older. I'm sorry but I am just one of those idiotic readers who believes that with great pain comes with great happiness,. I just want some hope that after all that has happened in his life he should at least be happy with the one that he loves. ╥﹏╥ ╥﹏╥
