i have no idea why but the line "if you tell me to lie, i will tell u lies. whatever you want, beom" somehow struck me. I find it so?? vulnerable? giving?? it might have been just teasing but it felt, to me, so selfless. i wonder how much of his own person and desires would snake actually give up for beom to like him back

I completely agree with both of you! Snakes trying to show him that he would do anything for him? He realizes that Beom doesn’t trust other people in this chapter. I’m saying that he would tell him lies he was trying to reassure him and let him know that he would give him everything he wanted just to be with him! It’s so wholesome and I can’t wait to see more character development as they start to lean on each other more!
i'm turned off by the alter just disappearing. the first couple pisses me off like, god, just fuck already. everything moved perfectly for them, his traumas vanished, but now he says 'maybe i can't control myself.'
he had DID for years, but magically, without professional help, it disappeared or 'merged.' bad plot. he was supposed to control and accept the alter, saying he can't control himself now contradicts the merge. plus, if the alter can still take over, it didn't merge or disappear, just shares memories. it makes no sense.
