I just found that this is licensed in English on a webcomic site called netcomics and its not expensive, just a little inconvenient to go to a new site, create an account and remember to check it. Then you can see it as the author meant and not have the character's faces cut in two. To me it is worth paying for. I think after reading 10 chapters it has been consistently fun to read!
That first line - I'm your lackey ... what are your orders? ... also this wanting not to be abandoned... at first it seems funny but then it gets so dark. How does this author create something so consistently interesting with really not very much shown, I really admire Old Xian.
I agree, she is one of my favorite mangakas. I adore her art workouts super original, and cool and the subtlety of emotions are very deep and hit you unexpectedly

I know he likes Pan as a friend, but normally you just pull a friend aside and say quietly, watch out for this guy, he's a player... not get all angry and confrontational? It might be something to move the plot along. Also, Pan's apartment shelves are super empty, I was distracted noticing that.... but I liked the chapter. Thank you for updating, Cappy!
He seems frustrated and sensitive atm, he might be seeing him and LiHuan in those two, as redhead being the "straight" guy, maybe that's what he wants to say to LiHuan, that he's hurting because he's scared of being an experiment or later exchanged for a girl (but if he does say it and LiHuan really leaves he'll be even more hurt, even tho he's already rejected him) and it's easier to blow up on someone who he doesn't have a good opinion on (who also happens to be "straight") and that he doesn't know, and well Pan is understanding

Ooh that's a good point. I had also been thinking that YuYang is painfully aware of how harsh relationships of any kind (i.e. family, acquaintances, romantic) can be if you're gay. While for himself he puts on a calm facade, he'll get riled up at the idea of someone he cares about (and who has probably been one of his own supports) unnecessarily experiencing hurt. We know that YuYang is far more sensitive than he lets on.
Chapters 6,7, and 8 don't have the long note by the translators at the end of the chapter. I wondered if it was a new scanlator? If they continue this I would be very grateful. I love this mangaka and want to continue to read this.

No problem with all other storylines and showing YuYang as well would be ideal, but I love LiHuan, I think to myself all the time, I wonder what he is doing now... I wish he were a real person... I hope he is talking to his Dad soon... just a short scene at least please, is my plea to DJUN as they develop the story as they see fit.

No way he goes to bed at 10pm. He is maybe 30 years old, not 70. This is my only very small beef with the last chapter. I think Uncle Pan would be normally up quite late like maybe 2 or 3am... oh well, Djun will tell the story the way they want.. its fine, really! But I think very literally so that is just my small problem.
Maybe he sleeps early so that he can battle off sleep when he works at the bar? Cuz I notice when you get older, you wanna sleep in rather than stay up late. That's how I feel, anyway, as someone in my late 20s lol.

But yeah, considering he does a night job, I should be used to sleep late. But he could also be too tired on his days off to sleep late.
And I am nearly 52 and occasionally go to bed at 1:30am if I find something I can't put down reading ... and then feel like hell for several days afterwards because I have to wake at 5:50am for my job..
