This retelling of the little mermaid was so much more than I was expecting. Yes the girl is so annoying at first but she does grow and becomes the strong FL we hoped for. The layers this story has is actually well done. The boy she falls for isn’t a perfect prince but a flaw yet genuine guy and I love him. Such a hidden gem
