the ex saying he never loved him and only used him... i doubt that. i feel like he only said that cuz of the drugs that took over him cuz if he didn't love the mc, then why did he stay too long from their highschool to their twenties????? honestly i wouldn't stay that long if i didn't really love someone i'm just using. i wish the ex could've give apology to the mc, he deserves it.
