I’m only halfway through the story but I can assume I know where it’s going. A somewhat predictable plot, the name verse was really cool but never really dived into, It had the opportunity to be really good, but it wasn’t pulled off very well. The characters are very inconsistent in the way they act, so it feels like you don’t even know them. It’s very dragged out and I’m not even done with it. I still like it but not a favorite. I think it’s an okay read but not amazing. If you have the time then read it.

I like this story and read every single update, and genuinely? No, I do not recommend it lmao. Go read something lovely like Chameleon wa Tenohira ni Koi wo Suru instead. Or, if you want something with action and actually well written angst I would read Death Delayed for a Short Time Because of the Will. Passion is more like a guilty pleasure with rough around the edges writing. There are a million stories better.
Even so, if you've exhausted your options, go for it. It's certainly a... ride

It certainly is an ‘interesting’ manhwa but if you’re into those fluffy stories, you might wanna run away fast but hey give it some thoughts. I personally liked this because I finished the novel already but they way things are now on the manhwa? Hmmmm can’t say, i think we might have different preferences
I’m a novel reader and I honestly think Taei’s inner monologue is kind of needed to properly understand his feelings about Ilay. I won’t lie, a lot of this story is sickening and Ilay SUCKS. Truly a black flag ML, particularly in the first novel. That isn’t to say Ilay is a bad character, I think he’s interesting and god some of his scenes are funny but you shouldn’t come into this story thinking he’s going to be a decent person, like, ever. What makes Ilay interesting, in my opinion, is his humanity where you can find it. His slow change from murder monster to a person who can be reasoned with (by only Taei, lmao) is cool to watch. Taei is a unique guy himself, given that he willingly throws himself into situations with madmen constantly. What I can say in the novel is that the horrible things that Ilay does to Taei and others isn’t really romanticised in my opinion. The manhwa is softened a bit by losing more of Taei’s inner monologue but the novel really doesn’t shy away from it. I’d say if the manhwa continues following the novels it’s after this one is finished I’d give it a shot but if they don’t I wouldn’t bother unless you want to read the novels afterwards (Chris alone is worth them continuing the adaptation, lmao)
I’m loving the story so far. The author is purposefully not giving us much (theory) to give us this sense of false safety. There is obviously this Erie vibe already set, and gunwoo is not human. Emerging from the rubble, his eyes which is what usually happens to corpses after they pass, and the stitches. Also when they were eating, the others went silent as he approached them. Many others have pointed out the tittle but I want to point out the cover, maybe some manipulation and the dazed face of the mc. I hope not a toxic couple ofc. I want to know more about the ml’s arms though, at first I thought it was burned but it seems more like tattoos considering how his nails aren’t also black. Sorry for the rambling yall. I’m super intrigued and can’t wait to see more
I’m only on ch 45 but everytime a new side character gets introduced, I think, “I like them, I hope they don’t die” SND THEN THEY DIE IN THE NEXT CHAPTER!!! Also someone pls tell me if this is a good ending. I can’t take any more mental distress, I’m a college student TT

Honey, in a post apocalyptic setting, it's best to put all your trust on ONLY the main character(s) to live on. Not that I'm saying that everyone else will die! But just keep your expectations low.
girll don't get attached pleasee it will only continue to happen in the next chapters. We should be thankful my little mushroom and lu feng are main characters cause they will never gonna die (or die and they come back to life)

It feels like the story is finally starting. There was always this uncomfortable feeling but now that feeling is being highlighted. First with guwon, and now mc and his reoccurring dreams. Everyone in the town was always weird. I’m excited but lowkey scared
