I'm so maaad! (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
Fuck you, the blue haired guy.
Fuck you yeonduk's mum.
Fuck you yeonduk's sister.
They SEE he's suffering, he lost weight and got dark circles under eyes, he became a hollow shadow of himself and yet they do absolutelly NOTHING. like, you see your brother staring at one place and not answering you? Oh, do nothing, it's okay. You see your son behaves himself and looking like a zombie? That's okay too, aside the fact that you sold his happiness to live a comfortable life
You're a counselor? Haha it's not my job to notice symptoms of depression.
Fuck fuck fuck yooou skyler's mom.

Problem is that counselors can't force themselves on you. Mr.Shun asked Yeonduk multiple times if he wanted counseling yet Yeonduk turned him away each time. I agree with you on every part except for the counselor. A counselors job is to offer support when it's needed AND wanted not to be officious as that would just pressure the student and drive them into a corner.

A counselor has the duty to report any possible danger to the life of the children to the authority(school, parent, cops...). Depression is as such, the counselor is whithin his right to act by himself and force the situation upon the child. Though it can be difficult to do for the counselor as his job is to help the children better themself and reporting it is the extreme measure...
A counselor should also have been able to see the sign of abuse and depression and act accordingly.
Though the culture and his inexperience(his first time being a counselor) could also be part of the reason for his inaction...

I do see what you mean but I still think that it wouldn't be wise to jump ahead of himself. In real life a counselor would watch after the student to try to get an understanding of what is going on. What if a counselor say bruises on a child and reported it to the parents and it turned out that the parents were the one abusing their child? The counselor only wanted what was best for the child yet they may have ended up hurting the child even more. In this situation, it's best to examine what's going on before contacting anyone. Many students show signs of depression at times and there's a number of things that could cause it (stress in or outside of school, maybe a family member died, or maybe they DO have depression). Point being counselors aren't your personal psychologist and while it would be nice for a counselor to report every danger, it simply isn't feasible. This school only has one counselor watching over how many? Counselors try to learn more about their students before jumping to conclusions. The student needs to want to help themself before the counselor can intervene and get them the help they need.

maybe OP meant blue-haired as in Skylar. Skylar's hair is a dark blue. I'd be surprised if the fuck you was meant for Dr.Chu, especially if OP is cursing the incompetent mother and the bratty sister.

fighting with friends and depression is all part of growing up, Counselors and teachers cant just suddenly act on their own even if they wanted to cause there are limits in relationship between them and the students. for teenagers, unwanted adult intervention will only make things more complicated for them!
it's important for student to resolve problems by themselves most of the time so that they wont become reliant to others when they enter society.
ofcourse the guidance office is always open for students emotional needs, forcing students may only lead to negative effects

Totally agree with you about reporting being the last resort, which is why I said it is only in extreme measure. I was just stating that they can force the situation if they feel the need to. Plus, the counselor spent a lot of time with him, saw him becoming more and more depressed and even saw him getting beaten up, which was what I was getting into when I meant he should have acted accordingly to the situation... But as I said, it's his first year and the culture can be really different from mine, so maybe they react differently to these type of problem... Just found it strange is all :D

Well of course all of that is part of childhood, as is bullying and suicidal thought/action... Does that mean we shouldn't help them because it is normal? If they don't want help, should we just let them kill themshelf?
I understand adult intervention is the last resort(as I stated), but I don't think the situation in the story is a typical adolescent story and that adult should just let them "deal with it themself"...
As I said, it may be cultural difference as where I grow up, adult acted upon everything that could brim the success and the future path of the children, in order to let them be the best they can be...

Yes, I wasn't addressing Skylar, you're right
Just in my language we have two different namings for light blue and dark blue, sorry everyone I caused a little confusion :‹
Now when I'm not this angry I can say that the counselor isn't that bad.
Anyway, it seems to me he could do anything to better the situation. Maybe to talk to his mother or something like that.
He IS NOT yeonduk's friend, he's a grown up whose job is to help.
But... you know I've never happened to come across the situation like this one so I can be not right to judge the counselor.

Lots of commentators dont like Maya, and I feel nervous cuz on the contrary I like him. Scarrry

I don't hate Maya. Up until this chapter I was #TeamMaya all the way. He changed tremendously compared to volume one and cares deeply for Nemu. However, his reaction was a complete turn-off. How can Maya be so stuck-up that he puts the blame on Nemu....and not his shady ways? I just....I'd expect that from a younger Maya. He was very much in the wrong here.
Wanted to write lots of thing, but couldnt find right words :^] just know that u'm hurt by the fact he doesnt think he likes him very very much
