I really enjoyed reading this, like the art is absolutely beautiful, the plot is intriguing, and the world building is so convincing. I‘m unsure how I’m supposed to feel about the rape in it; I’m disturbed by it and it might be meant to be disturbing?? Like how it’s also meant to be disturbing that the townspeople were lowkey taking advantage of the children. Idk if the author wanted the rape to be viewed as romantic or not, but I’ll choose to view it as disturbing. Also before anyone wants to argue, yes that was rape, the Miko was saying no and was trying to reject him but the dude still went ahead and did it. I think the Miko still went towards him after he turned into a fiend because they’re friends. Anyway, it’s a really interesting story!!

I definitely think it was meant to be more disturbing than anything else, though I believe the author is moreso trying to show what terrible circumstances can make people do. They both cared so much for each other that at the end when Atsushi turned into a fiend, Miko said that he probably would have done the same thing if Atsushi had been the 'miko' of that generation.
Definitely disturbing, but moreso showing a mixture of desire/good intentions gone wrong.

It was so good but nearing the end, it kinda trailed off and just got bad. It sucks because it had so much potential but then nearing the end, it just got ruined. I do like how he story explores the mc’s relationship with her mom and aunt, and how she views them. But the sex was just so random and it just ruined the story for me. Plus. I’m not a fan of cousins fucking, kinda weird :/

You missed the point, the power play that went there.
Her throwing him was basically her last attempt at making him feel like he is inferrior to her. Rage and hatred at herself and him, the littereal son of the person she looks up to, being a reminder.
Him pushing her away but then diciding to engage anyway was basiacally him telling her he won, that he saw right through her, that when it came down to it, she still cant stand up for herself and is indeed inferrior to him. But this is also in a way him forgiving her. So reconciliation in a twisted way from both parts. The last blow from him was ofc him telling her that it is actually her mother who despite all was superior compared to his mom Arisa idolizes so much, who threw herself at other men, getting disowned even, due to her inferriority complex. So his mom aint really that what Arisa thinks and that Arisa should start working on herself

So I’m happy we can comment again, anyway, I liked the story of the main couple in the first life, the future life one was kinda boring and not my fav :( also the relationship between the brothers was weird the whole time and it honestly ruined the story for me, especially bc of the rape and incest involved. Like the younger brother got feelings for him after being bullied and raped by the older brother?? And the reasoning of “oh he just wanted love” feels so weak. Finally the third pairing, they were honestly kinda whatever, like we didn’t really have much to care for the couple and it felt like they were a third couple just to be there as an extra couple :/
does anyone know if the author has a twitter or some social media i can follow them on :3
