So, I'm pretty sure Naru is there, seeing all these people he cares about who he watched go through hurt and still carry that hurt, just wanting to get everything out in the open and have everyone confront their feelings and each other honestly and move forward.

It's just hard to like the smug, puppet master way he's doing it.

Somehow, reading this makes me feel like I should be reading up on real British history and the Crimean war...

...Oh well, I'll just keep reading manga!

More than all the possible ships, there are two things I find irritating:

1. That the King is a "good" person, so I'm not supposed to loathe him despite his infuriating behaviour.

2. Elise's messy hair.

Lmao, I thought I’m the only one who got disturbed looking at those unkempt hair. The MC from I was born a king’s daughter too... (and her face even looks weirder day by day)...

Oh! The hospital was completely based on the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne (where I worked for a little while; do a Google image search). That was a brief thrill. hehe

On the other hand, I get that he's not allowed to pilot a plane when he's sick/on certain types of medication...but I wouldn't think it would be OK for the other guy to pilot it solo, either! ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Yeah, isn't there like a rule that there has to be two pilots at a time ? Imagine drive a car for 11 hours straight without any help from someone else, i know theres autopilot but there should be a backup just in case. I just had was on a road trip, and can hardly stand drive 4 hrs straight w/o a break

I often dislike spin-offs about the love rival, because they often feel like uninspired stories written for the sake of it, and often the love rival has behaved pretty abominably in the first/main story and I don't see why I suddenly have to forget how despicable they were and try to like them.

I'm appreciating this one because it's finally exploring properly the consequences of his own wretched past behaviour and not excusing it nor having the people around him excuse it at all (not merely trying to make us sympathetic to their actions).

I can therefore get behind this one a whole lot more, because it feels like there's a proper story to tell, yes, of a new relationship, but also of him facing the consequences of his actions, developing/growing as a person and moving forward.

That's a much better secret than her secret being that she's always tired and absent because she has a terrible disease (which is what I was bracing myself for).

It felt like some things weren't clear:

1. Did Sadao actually believe Tomo-thingy's story about crying & the rain or did he think it was just a joke? There's not really a reaction shown, and then they go to school as if everything's normal - so did he not take it seriously?

2. If he did believe him, why is he not mad or distrustful? He's made it seem as if he's only interested in bringing the rain and being special because he's the one responsible for making Sadao cry. Even if he really has fallen for Sadao along the way, as someone who's already a cynical loner, wouldn't Sadao at least question his motivation/feelings, if not get completely mad or disenchanted?

I can accept that many things are left until to the coming chapters, but it can't plausibly skip to the next day and not show any reaction and feelings.

Ahhh. I know it MAY actually just literally be a scratch, but for a head wound, for children in one's care...don't immediately send him back into the game! It's just a basic duty of care, surely, when it can't be certain how hard a knock he received?

(It also bothers me when students in manga literally get knocked unconscious at school (usually during PE, sport activities, a stray ball, or falling down stairs) and the school medical whoever merely waits for them to wake up, says they seem OK, and merely sends them home on their own. PHONE A PARENT/GUARDIAN AND RECOMMEND FURTHER MEDICAL CARE, or at least observation, for goodness sake.)

(Yes, I get bothered too much by the wellbeing of fictional characters...)
