Clark, an unethical crime journalist, is introduced to a wanted serial killer by his on-again/off-again ex-boyfriend who happens to be the killer's therapist. A cold story about manipulation and how love can change you, often for the worse. Not about 'who does so and so end up with' but a character study. Very satisfying narrative.
