I don't think they supposed to. From what I gathered it's part of a big undercover operation. It seems the Warden is using the blonde omega for information about the drugs and in return the omega recieves protection for him & Alejandro while in jail. & now the Warden is also making the guard to become close & inmate with Alejandro for information about drugs & the dealer due to him possible knowing more. So it must be a big time druglord they are after and couldn't get just yet due to lack of evidence or the druglord is just to good at keeping his hands clean. That's my guess.

He doesn’t have feelings for the guy and wanted to escape by unaliving himself. In THIS story you can just sense it’s gonna be another Stockholm Syndrome type story.

So many people were also pissed off at the Sadistic Beauty ending lol I also enjoy pulpy Stockholm syndrome stories. Not every horror movie is a Silence of the Lambs masterpiece, sometimes a movie is just Final Destination, both of which I find very entertaining
