MCs like this really test my patience... pushovers who will obsess over any pitiful man like they're a crying, wounded animal. He's just a obsessive and unstable as his brother, frankly they deserve each other.
Seriously what kinda pleasure do people get from writing characters like this
I do get it! It can be fun and cathartic to write about bad people and I love terrible characters, this guy just isn't my flavor of terrible.
I really liked this! The characters had good contrast between their past and present lives and endings. Arie was incredibly naive and careless with her position and how starting an affair with Henan could destroy his life, and had no concept of consequences which makes sense since she was raised in isolation with no power to establish boundaries. Whereas Yeonwoo was much more considerate and aware of others and very good at setting boundaries. Henan was yearning and never had the courage to meet Arie without feeling shame for his feelings and resentment for her power over him and died full of regret. Dokyung understandably started off even more fearful bc of the fate he met but was able to overcome it and meet Yeonwoo on even ground and openly admit his feelings. Kalima was obsessive and saw Arie as one of his many possessions and used his power to keep her under his control and believed love could be created by force. And while Seojin still abused his power in some ways and lied, he did so bc he understood love can't be forced. And he was able to let go and move on, something Kalima never would have been able to do. I only wish this were a bit longer!

I want to like this, I like atypical omegaverse stories, but the characters talk each other in circles and especially in smut scenes it completely kills the atmosphere. Like they got to the bed then spent 3 chapters talking and handwringing, the pacing is all over.
Bro could be living it up by building a harem so he can rotate men like rotisserie meat so they never reach 100% and he lives forever but instead he's going about this in the messiest roundabout way lollll

MC’s been in denial this whole time, about being locked up, because of his own emotional turmoil .
His brain is “I want to be with him, the confinement doesn’t scare me as much as “completing” the game.”
so it’ll be interesting to see him actually take this seriously
