The story has color. Woman is a saintess or something who can make lights I think? She has white hair. Suddenly she is in the body of a random guy and she lives as him for a while and in the process falls in love with his best friend. His friend can sometimes see the real her, I think. And I think she can sometimes see the guy whose body she switched with in her sleep.
Spoilers:
The guy she becomes is actually her long lost twin brother. Their parents were killed and she was taken to become the saintess. They drain the saintesses powers to use as a source of energy and make money. The guy who works with saintesses has helped many times but he fell in love with her and cast the spell to make her appear in her twin brother’s body so that he could save her from death.

It’s a shame, coz I used to love school life stories and whatnot. Straight, achillean, sapphic; I just loved the theme. But now that I’m in my late 20s, idk I just feel uncomfortable 90% of the time. But yeah, to the point: so much GL that exist are of high school girls. I’d really appreciate any GL with adults, preferably shoujo ai instead of yuri but if you know a really good yuri then I guess that’s fine. Not stuff like Poor Poor Lips, because even though they’re adults, the incredibly childlike appearance of one of the leads was very off putting. I guess I’ll also take high school aged girls if it’s a really good story, so long as it does not mostly take place in a school. So yes, thank you in advance! Such an underrated genre with not a lot of stories available.

Oneshot in a collection. Twin sisters. Twin A engaged, Twin B (I think named Tsubaki) in love with her fiancé. Fiancé goes blind saving B. A can't support him coz she's too devastated. B cuts her hair and pretends to be A. She supports the fiancé and makes origami with him, even 1000 cranes. He gets donor eyes. B begs A to get back with him. A does but admits to her fiancé it wasn't her before the wedding. He gets with B in the end.

What's your manga pet peeve? For me it's when translators get Bs and Vs confused. I really don't get why it's that difficult.
Duke's Maid: Ibee-->Evie
Miss Not-So-Sidekick: Ibelyn-->Evelyn
I Saved the Cursed Duke: Edelbais-->Edelvais
idk, you'd think that the obviously nonexistent names would clue them in that they picked the wrong letter lol.

sorry not a pet peeve but just wanted to explain more on b and v sounds and the reason for your pet peeve lol.
v sounds do not exist in Korean and there isn't really a difference between B's and V's. For example: w/ the name Victoria, you'd write it as 빅토리아 [biktoria], changing the V sound to B sound. Same w/ 이벨리나 [Ibellina] is Evelina in English.
Since many foreign names are translated in korean, many translators usually write the names how it would be pronounced in korean.

Yeah, ik. It's like L and R with Japanese. They pick English names, though, so it'd make more sense to translate them as the names they are. Makes no sense otherwise and it just makes everything look weird, especially when you have other names normally translated. Like you got a name like Arwin and then you've got Ibelyn in there. It doesn't make any sense.

This is seriously going to bother me. Okay, so here's the description. It's in color, btw
It's the very overdone trope of the woman having a twin sister who steals away her fiance (difference is this story actually does it really well). The sister is basically evil. The sister was born ill and resents the FL because of it. The parents don't hate the FL or anything, but since the sister is sick, they always paid more attention to her and neglected the FL (they realize later on how neglectful they were and regret it). The entire family, including the twin, eventually reconcile with the FL. Now, the romance. I believe it is with her boss. She really likes him, and he's great and sees through the twin. The relationship goes great until she eventually realizes he has no intention to ever get married.
Please help me out. >.<

i think it might be this one???
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/woman_s_best_friend/
So hello Mangago crowd I really hate to basically be seeking validation but idk I need to hear other views from various ages. So when I was 22 Death Note 2019 came out and I didn’t even read it I just saw the cover and posted on my social media that the dude was hot and HOLY FUCK the entire internet was after me and calling me a pedophile and shit coz apparently he was a minor who was 17 max, 15 min, which I did not know. So yeah I felt like shit and me not knowing and me being asexual and not meaning it sexually wasn’t a defense.
So basically I just feel weird reading stuff with younger characters now, especially since I’m nearing 30. I kinda tell myself “well they’re young but they’re adults” but I still feel like such a creep. Then I’m reading Boy Girlfriend and the scenes are hot though it’s sensual for me and not sexual since I can’t stand the sight of “parts” but yeah making out and stuff, yeah, go off. But then the character says he’s TURNING eighteen and someone now I feel like a pedo again and I just feel so bad and basically how do you older folks feel about reading stuff with younger MCs? Ik it’s fiction and it’s not like, shotacon or whatever, and yeah ik the age of consent differs from place to place but my brain just is like yelling at me “FEEL SHAAAAAAAME” so yes tyvm I’d appreciate feedback of both younger peeps around that age and for peeps my age I’m sorry to vent here.
fiction and reality. Some people can’t tell the difference so don’t be affected by these type of people. These are the people who will scream proshipper proshipper proshipper all over twitter while enjoying the said proshipper work in secret. It’s fiction, not a big deal.
If u feel shame reading about younger characters/age gaps, just remember there are people who read worst ( me, for example, have read a lot of dead doves ( ex, huge age gaps (talking about 17-40), corpse fucking, and a lot more) but do I bring it into real life? No and if someone does what I read irl, it’s fucking disgusting too). So, as long as u can differentiate fiction and reality, it’s rlly nothing.
Just make sure u find a community who share a similar thought w u because the rest part will scream proshipper proshipper proshipper.
tldr, leave what u read as what u read. Forget about it after reading. No big deal. (I’ve become so immune to a lot of troupe so yeah.)
18 here, you're fine. Personally I separate fiction and reality because I don't bring my fictional preferences into reality. Know that there are worse people than you who actively seek children-looking characters who are canonically 100+ years old. It's not the age, it's the mentality. Enjoy your fiction how you'd like to enjoy it and keep away from the internet <3 too many sensitive people on there
I’m in mid 20s and also ace. I just don’t care since they ain’t real and it’s practically inevitable that you’ll out-age these characters. Idk since I don’t have those feelings of shame, to me it’s just a story. And it’s not like you’re attracted to it or anything since you’re ace so I think you’re fine reading it.
I have a really big account in the anime community or Tumblr so it was a bombardment of shame so I think that definitely didn’t help lol
That and OCD
Also what character from death note? I feel like those characters are drawn to look a lot older than they actually are.
Light, probably. He's a high school student
Nah, it was the 2019 spin-off. Minoru Tanaka. Light was attractive for his time, so they updated the new MC with the new young millennial/Gen Z aesthetic lol
Gotta keep with the times loool
ah the stupid one I think
sorry I know who he is but I can’t recall his name just that he’s stupid
Or maybe I remember wrong……..
Nah, Minoru’s a genius. Arguably smarter than Light. His only weakness was that he didn’t know how unpredictable Ryuk is lmao
Also about this… it’s rlly about finding ur community that shares ur thought. I had this friend who was a big account on twitter and they also mostly post proshipper stuff, i.e, age gaps, incest, and a lot more but nobody give them any shits bc people mostly are used to what they post & also read the same stuff + shared the same thought ( fiction ≠ reality, people who take fiction as reality are the real freaks ).
Ooo that guy. He a cutie I like his hair. I think people were being way too harsh on u.
