It makes me sad that Latte always thinks of herself as being unattractive, and other characters reinforce it onto her. I wish she realized she was beautiful, or like, at least have Arwin say it.
I prefer her with Arwin, but I kind of think I’m enjoying Kenneth’s more. It’s less rushed after the realization of feelings. I get that Arwin is Arwin and grabbing what he wants when he realizes he wants it is in character, but going right from Peridot to coupledom was slightly disappointing.
I’ve read it 2x now, and I wish there was a little more engagement time for latte and Arwin, I get his impatience I love it, but that would’ve given us so much more. I wanted to see the pregnancy, did Arwin threaten everyone? Even their little one when she showed the slightest bit of pain and she had to console him to prevent mass destruction. What were they like raising their son? As the mistress of mage tower did she flaunt it where-ever she went? Even though there’s many chapters i never got enough. ( ̄へ ̄)
I saw the raws for the first chapter of season 3, and at first I thought that was just some sort of weird kink thing or whatever but now I’m concerned. I really don’t want to dislike Shane, but he needs to realize that Seoha is a person who thinks and feels all on his own. He’s not an object to be owned or territory to be marked. If the raws are as bad as they look, I don’t think I’d ever be able to forgive Shane.
When I was in my early twenties I found out a guy who used to torment me in middle school actually thought I was cute.
Arwin never grew out of this phase lol. (granted, it’s more coz he finds her reactions amusing, but I just can’t help but think of guys being awful to girls they like when they’re little)
Kudos to the writer. In any other story, I would want to murder Yuri, and yet in this one I simply can't hate him for some reason lol
Yuri is so miserable that he needs to make someone else miserable, so he picks the person most vulnerable and most like him.
Sad seeing him in FYL vs now. Yohan is an absolutely amazing friend for sticking by him despite the personality shift. Hope Yuri one day realizes that he hit the friendship jackpot.
The writer fleshed their characters out so well you can't get mad at them lol I'm sure if yuri had grew up in a loving family, he would have probably appreciate yohan so much but our boy is just not okay in the head ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I wish seonwoo helped yuri out to seek therapy as well, he def needed that too
I feel like, since he was shown so little love growing up, that when he falls, he falls hard and it becomes obsessive. Dangerously so the second time around imo. Like I’m not even done but he’s realized his feelings and his cute little puppy love smiles can become the disturbing ones I’d a man obsessed. His family fucked him up so bad.
I know they’re villains and they’re gonna do awfully fucked up things in the story, but idk relationships based on lies make me feel weird coz of consent and whatnot
There's also such thing as a likable villain, which is what this story is going for. It's possible for someone to realize someone is a bad person and fall for them anyway. But the novel being all like "this poor man is so pure and I never realized it and omg I'm so in love with him now because of his kindness" gives me the ick and is also kinda boring. Going back and forth in your head and knowing liking the villain is wrong is more interesting.
Honestly, I just find it incredibly unsatisfying having them play every one in the way they're playing them. I like seeing people one-upped and tricked, but him making himself look like a martyr just kinda makes the plot of a villain embracing being a villain weaker and slightly less appealing. Heck, even if he revealed his evil at the end but the person stayed with them, it'd be more interesting. You're a villain. You're caught. Show them just how bad you are.
I like that this story is consistent with her reputation, at least as far as I am in the story. In so many, the transmigrated villainess is just nice a few times and suddenly her reputation totally changes, she’s become a good person or she’s misunderstood. Here, she has a bad reputation, people have seen the bad shit in person, so yeah, they’re not going to believe she’s sincere during the times she’s not absolutely horrible, and they’re going to take even her good actions with suspicion for the most part.
I get it’s an AU but it breaks my heart seeing that their father who adored his wife and wanted his daughters to be safe is such a fucking creep in this.
So Ayesha's secret was the main story not this?
The original that this is based on.
