I like the storyline but the translation really isn't the smoothest to read through. Like reading dialogue written by elementary schoolers but still appreciate the effort.
"elementary schoolers" is an overstatement. if you actually want to show your appreciation, don't do it in such a backhanded way. regarding the translation, it may not be perfect but it's still understandable. if you want to do smth about it, then try applying for them as a proofreader instead of lowkey dissing the group like an ass

This wasn't an appreciation post. This was just me plainly critiqueing the way i was able to experience what i read. A little heads up for those that might read this and think its a terrible story but its really just because the full effect of emotions and flow of the storyline is lost through this translation.
Their backgrounds and stories are all coming from are all so complicated and mixed up that i just cant see anyway that anyone in the this story gets what they deserve.
Judging by size of the ears of the animal spirit in Rat's arms i would assume that he is a mouse. But of the animal spirits take after the Chinese zodiac so im a little confused. Even if hes not a mouse, theres really no other rodent in the chinese zodiac so.???
Possibly... if it is, its kind of weird that they choose to make his ears so tiny considering how the other animal spirits ears are exaggeratedly large like Rat and Pig's.
