So the character would try to change the plot by changing the way they behave or changung major events but that simply would mean that another characters could continue this plot on by acting in their place.
Which is what she sees. So now the plot continues on but she is taking the similar role of mia. I would feel pessimistic and doubtful too.

Yes, he's a better kind of pushy? Pushy in a sense that he definitely noticed she was being abused in that house and immediately sought to take her out of there, or at least offer her an open option of leaving and having his protection. Gotta appreciate a man who leaves the decision to the MC instead of forcing it "for her own good".
Anyway onto more IMPORTANT matters I love how Alphonse was literally glowing when Chloe gave him the sweet potato flower. He's come so far in regards to his affection and love for Chloe.
