i made the exact same remark in my mind, sometimes he is on the large proportion of a young man in his mid-tweenties and sometimes he has the body of a child who's barely a teenager.

I want to think that is because their size and height difference. Even though Keith is shorter he dosen't look like a child, he still looks in his 20's. Not like others ukes that actually are draw as children face and body.
