Phew just reread the whole thing to get a grasp of the story at this point but I do have one question. So just what or who is that meridith now? It's really so confusing and I'm talking about the meridith from the first tower not the previous king of beasts.
Meredith is a human who has a fragment of the monster king Meredith's memories. I'm not sure why he has the name Meredith, but he does.

Yup that is right additionally, as far as I could understand and recall the blonde princess is the one who gave the name Meredith, now whether to the Giant King or to our smoking hot Blue black King we are not sure since often times the blonde princess is mostly portrayed talking with our smoking black haired King instead of the giant king. We are still clueless about Meredith because the blonde princess' story is not clarified yet so.. i just hope that it'll clarified by the next few chapters..
The blonde princess's story is so confusing to me. So at the end who was the one she was in love with? That Giant Demon king or the Human sized Demon king? First she was shown talking to the black hair hot human sized king but then In one page it was shown when the princess tried to sacrifice herself to end the war but that Giant demon king caught her and held her upon his hands and it was mentioned something like *but she knew it was the one she loved no matter what form he was in* but wait wasn't the giant king the one who made the human shell for our hot black haired king as shown previously and not actually his own body cos he was originally one giant king? I'm seriously at my wit's end here
From my opinion *WARNING THIS IS A F*CKING LONG THEORY *
1. The first tower probally is the reincarnating of the giant demon king but has some of memories of the king (blow) * he also one of those sacrifices
2. He was named meredith that given by the first imperial princess .
3. The princess probally doesnt know that the giant demon king is not the king (blow) / someone who made up stories / eperia had a misunderstanding since she have a dream
4. The princess love the king (blow) *of course look at her face ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
5. The king (blow) doesnt have any emotions or feeling towards anything so at the end the giant demon king who save her *he said that he wants to protect humans
6. The king also named blow just like (2) but a little bit difference cause i think he just took that name during the princess tell him some stories cause he probally thought because of his fault that he let his giant demon king go to human world
Most importantly
7. I've thought that when eperia said that the person named blow is the one who bring disaster n meredith is savior is actually just a story that was made up by the first imperial princess n people probally misunderstanding like lanoste
