Well, Ruka said directly to Nemu his plans and he said relationships can go stale. It IS insecurities that Ruka intentionally fed.

Well said, sir! Well said. And to you guys who thinks that Nemu might be acting selfish, please re-read the manga. Might've missed something along the line.

Ruka extremely poor attempts to get into Nemugasa head can only work if Nemugasa allows it.... and Nemugasa is allowing it, but I hope he snaps out of it before he loses Maya.

I said it's insecurities that Ruka intentionally fed, meaning Nemu already had those insecurities but he was holding them back. I think both Maya and Nemu messed up, but I completely understand both sides. It's ultimately Nemu's responsibility, how he takes Ruka's words, but from that point on, Ruka's words color every moment Nemu spends with Maya. That anxiety and overthinking can wear down on a person very quickly, plus Maya lied about meeting Ruka before, that would make me 100% suspicious of Maya. That suspicious feeling is hard to let go of, and then combined with your own insecurities and Maya's breakup issues and him getting pissed at Nemu everytime Nemu brings up some point that he's concerned with, miscommunication and non-communication is the only next step for inexperienced people like Maya and Nemu. Maya essentially refuses to let Nemu communicate, and then he gets pissed or sad when Nemu won't communicate. Do you see the problem here?

I wrote this to say that I understand the wrongs of both sides and the reasons why the both of them acted the way they did, but I'm on Nemu's side because of Maya's choice to keep avoiding the problem by blaming Nemu in some way. But I understand why you think Nemu is in the wrong and why you're on Maya's side. I just think it's a matter of what we personally feel is more wrong.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like both Nemu & Maya (that’s why I’m like stop fighting & love eachother). I feel like at this point in the story it should be more about Nemu & Maya working on their communication issues, coming out to their families, living together..etc

Ruka is obviously someone who knows how to MANIPULATE to get what he wants. He is PURPOSELY targeting someone's insecurities. KNOWING the words to say to get people to be influenced by what he says. NOT everyone would be smart or strong enough to see this. Especially not someone like Nemugasa who typically avoided people in the past. Meaning he doesn't have strong social skills to identify assholes like Ruka.

This is not his fault. Not everybody has the same set of social skills. Maya did not do himself the favour by LYING about where he was. The exact same thing RUKA used against Nemu to make him doubt Maya.

At the same time, You can see that Nemu can clearly see his own faults and his own securities. Maya is becoming too dependant on Nemu's love and doesn't realise where he is coming from. But NEMU is the one who KNOWS how his insecurities may affect Maya. Which is why he asked for a break. Nemu DESPITE his insecurities can tell how harmful it may be. So how can you blame him for that? For being AWARE of it. Not everyone are even aware of it. And now he's doing the ADULT thing and THINKING about it. Which you should do so you don't fall into the same shit.

How can people say Nemu is ONLY about his insecurities when you can see that he always uses his brain to think about things. Rather than being headstrong and busting down stuff with no brains. Nemu is re-evaluating himself and how his insecurities may affect maya. This is an ADULT thing. So don't you dare say as though Nemu is simply about his insecurities.

Sooner or later Nemu has to stop letting Ruka feed his insecurities. When will he learn how to stand up for him self.....blaming Ruka is getting old, he’s got to learn how to ignore the haters.

Pretty sure this is Nemu's first time dealing with "haters." But again, it's not solely Ruka's fault, I agree with that. All three of them have a share of the responsibility; however, Ruka's share is heavier since his actions were intentional and manipulative.

True, I’ll be so happy when Ruka gets his own man or loses interest in Maya & Nemu to focus on his health.

I've already stated that Ruka is good at MANIPULATING people. It's easy FOR YOU to say that Nemu should learn how to stand up for himself. but that's shortsighted for you. Not everyone is equipped or born with the skills to do so. Not everyone can see the BS for what Ruka really is.

To expect him to act that way, with no experience of such things is RIDICULOUS. You're literally asking someone who can't swim to JUMP INTO THE OCEAN and figure their way out. Rather than taking it slow, which is what NEMU is doing by ASKING for a break. He needs to SORT himself out.

But asking him to stand up for himself against Ruka. When he is not even sure about the asshole that Ruka is, is quite ridiculous and short-sighted of you. It makes me wonder if we're reading the same manga. Nemu doesn't even know Ruka's intention, Ruka is GOOD AT MANIPULATING.

MAYA did not help his case BY LYING. Which would only make others distrust him. I don't blame Nemu at all for this. Ruka is a manipulator and Maya helped that by LYING about his whereabouts. But good on you to blame Nemu for all this.
