I really should've read the comments first. I just wasted an hour of my time just to figure out that Lester is gonna die. I honestly don't give a frick about the mc, like she can go back to her fricking world. But Lester man, I feel bad for him. Everyone has their own way of showing their affection, and even though Lester's way of showing it isn't the best, you can still see it. 50 chapters and the mc is still denying that he cares about her; like, was getting hurt for you not enough proof? Even though you clearly saw him get hurt for you, you still deny his feelings? I get that you don't want to be called or treated like a pet, but you should at least try to understand that he grew up believing that humans are pets!!! She makes no effort in trying to understand his situation and only focuses on herself. That's why she doesn't know Chris's real intentions and why everyone wants her dead. Because she is so fricking selfish and stoopid. Whoever put the tag "strong female lead" I think you're blind. Sorry for the rant, and I wouldn't recommend this one. It’s apparent in your comments that you like to pity the dumbasses of the story. Maybe because you’re a dumbass yourself. However, unlike you, the rest of us are not stupid and can see how fucking clueless the FL is! And I don’t remember the ML beating the FL to death, so stop exaggerating everything. If he really wanted to kill her, she would’ve been dead. In this story, I kinda wanted him to do that because she was so fucking annoying. Plus, I don’t know how you can compare weak and strong female leads. Weak does not equate to strong. Weak will always be weak until the weak become strong. Oh and fuck Chris too. She could’ve went and got caught in his trap for all I care. He treated her with fake kindness. You said that the ML did not treat her with kindness but failed to realize that kindness can be shown through not only words but actions as well. The ML tried to use his actions to show his kindness but ig the FL only likes fake verbal and direct “kindness.”
It's been a while since I've read a really good and original manga, so I'm really happy. Even though we're left on a cliff hanger, I'm not mad about it.
