wait why DIDNT he do that? keep quiet about the writer and reveal false info? is that evil or sum it just sounds intellegent to me

His 'darker side' is shown to wear the king's cape as a token to symbolize his desire to be in that position.
The word itself 'kingmaker' is used to describe someone who has indirect control over the throne through huge influence over the royal because they themselves lack the ability to be a candidate for it and rely on the royal being the puppet. Who to say that Shin wouldn't have seized the position for himself if he was a viable candidate instead? Especially with Wolfgang starting to disobey him and having autonomy in his decisions during the recent events. (like he promised in ch 20) and that scene where Wolfgang had to use the royal command over him, it might have made him realize that his power is still obsolete compared to the king. And the fact that as someone who is as control freak as shin, who to say this event didn't awake his 'darker' desires?
tl;dr: dark-shin is telling him to do this to monopolize power over the throne but shin is a good boy and is resisting him by still being loyal to his majesty.

the fucking translator shading people who do not like rape in stuff they read. Its valid for them not to be able to accept it. Why would they enjoy reading someone getting raped? Or not having their consent respected? I am ok this manhwa despite its dubcon because it is new, but seeing those translator comments PISSED me off.

Because there are tags and warnings, so if you can't stand those stuff, just skip the whole manga entirely. You don't need to read it. There are plenty of webtoons with consent.
Anyway artists just use rape to move the plot forward. I think it's stupid, but oh well, it's a fiction and why would I get upset over a fiction. It's not like removing rape from fiction will remove it from the real life. I really doubt it that rapists read yaoi.

Honestly I was confused too. I have a noncon kink but I cant stand rape when its romanticized/normalized. If you want a noncon scene you should tag it, warn ppl, and or make it clear that it is NOT a normal and humane thing to do. Idk why people get annoyed that people are upset about a power imbalance that wouldve never been allowed if this was FxM
its betrayal when its not done with consent from all parties. his wife cheated, plain and simple. its more than betrayal, the trust that he had in her feelings for him was also shattered
