I wanna start out with saying this is purely my own thoughts and opinons, if you like it that totally fine, I was just curius as to if there were any others with the same thoughts on the manga as I.
Ive been scrolling through some of the comments, but no one has mentioned the fact that Nana said Kei wasn't gay. How can Kei not be gay??? I mean he's being fucked by a man, while knowing its a man. Kei refers to Nana as 'he' or 'him' throughout the entie manga. Is it just Nana who thinks Kei isnt gay? At the end of the road Kei is in love with a guy, nothing can change that. There is also the fact that Nana probaly isnt the seme's real name, it is writen that you can call him Nana, but there is no way of knowing if thats his real name. On top of that, Kei knows nothing about 'Nana', but still 'loves' him. that just doesn't make any sence to me.
Yes thank you! I also reacted to that. Maybe Nana says Kei isn't gay because he might technically be bi och pan...? But that is never clarified. Kei is s obviously attracted to Nana as a man. But it's also such a common thing in yaoi to keep calling a person straight because this new love interest is supposedly just a special exception. I would love to se more expansion of sexual orientation in yaoi mangas. Like in Pink heart jam <3
It feels like the focus of this manga is sexual liberation so we mostly get to see their sex life which seems great haha. Personally I would have also liked to learn more about both characters to understand and feel their feelings. I would argue that we almost know more about Nana than we know about Kei. We know that Nana has a big interest in cosplay, crossdressing and we know what he did for work and that his sexual preferences has often been judged/misunderstood by his appearence. All we know about Kei is that he was traumatized after being molested on a train basically?
Based on this I would probably say that the "love" they speak of so early in the relationsship is probably confused with the strong sexual attraction they feel for eachother at that point maybe? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
YESS! Thank you. This makes so much more sense to me, espeicaly about how they defenitly have a strong sexual attraction to eachother, which may be what they're confusing with love.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

embrace the bisexuality
Why did that completely slip my mind??? I totally forgot, there are other sexualities than Gay and Straight(⊙_⊙ )(I'm pan myself;-;)
My bad, thanks for reminding me thoughヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
It just seemed like the dumb common troupe that yaoi does. Idk why the writers do it like this but its just stupid asf
