Should I be confused?? There's two Connie's???
The maid is Connie but the other lady from the orphanage is also Connie??
Please tell me I am just reading it wrong bc istg I thought that the MC was just talking about the maid the entire time but then she ig wasn't and now I am confused if there is two or it's her maid and former orphanage adult. ;v;

your not the only one!
but Im the opposite. been awhile since i let this marinate, and the only connie I remember is the teacher! so, when she calls the maid, I felt confused because she didnt adress her as teacher. and then she back talking about connie the teacher being on her hometown. like what? which connie, and connie who?

I don't think romance should happen bc.... He is her teacher and there is technically a power imbalance
I thought about that girl who was cured for syphilis and for some reason, that made me think about how they just don't re-introduce characters? That just me or...? Like a lot of characters we see in the beginning kinda just don't even get mentioned anymore and it's a lil weird. They make characters and sometimes it makes me think those characters would be super important and maybe mentioned here or there later on but no, they don't.
Also if there was romance, they really need to make it someone else bc she feels more like his student and kinda like his daughter or younger sister with the way she is framed with his two other students. Someone like that girl who was cured of syphilis would be better and she is in a info finding sect thing right? Good way to bring back a character that would be important. It just feels wrong with the student and the MC bc.... it's just wrong...

Me like this. Actually, if you read chinnese old stories there were a lot of mentioning about a student married their teacher as it would mean the family would well educated with long and harmonious marriage.
And here they are close in age too. Which perfect. By standart of that time someone with fame and power as huatuo may marry girls far younger.

The idea of Ichi being intersexual is cool. I do find that the analytical saying he looks "physically male" interesting too. I wonder if that implies some type of like personal identity going along with being able to slay Uroro. Like what if you non-binary? Or trans? Technically, Uroro didn't quite say what could kill him, just what couldn't. Being intersexual, having a different identity or maybe being a unknown type of murderous being would actually slay Uroro.
The second hand embarrassment strong with this one y'all, I can't be sober reading this. I am cringing in pain
