When you have nothing more to read and go hunting on the homepage instead of a "want to read list" filled with 1737845274727273718 unread mangas ...
And then you're wondering why you're there, re-reading a manga for the 100th time and can't find a new one
Its basically a list in which when we come across some mangas that draws our interest, but can't read them at that moment due to various circumstances. We put them in the "want to read list" so that when our other work is done, we can get that manga instantly from our home page and can read it. Since, its not possible to remember the names of all the mangas that fascinates you, right?
heh..i think it wasn't meant that literally.. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭..i know what a "want to read" list mean, it's just that in my case, though i have plenty..really plenty of "want to read" mangas..i never really read them even though i have time..instead i went to the comment section and read those recommended in there..and there were times that the manga i've chosen from there has a "want to read" tag which i myself had put in the mangas ages ago.. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Would you rather there be a real life Viktor or Yuuri?
I say Viktor (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
lol.. you wish to be someone who dont even exist. What a simple minded.
Some real life yuri wouldn't be bad right now (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
yuuri because he's so fluffy !! and i feel like we could be best friends :)) i think viktor is to cool for me lol XD
If you lovelies could recommend a shounen-ai with a unique plot please! Something that isn't school life, I wanna try reading something different. (人・∀・) ~
I suggest Golden Days, or No.6 if you haven't read either of those yet. They are very good.
Another one just came to me, Silver Diamond. It's really good.
Yes yes, I know, I've already posted an "opinion on" about public breastfeeding like an hour ago, but I'm a curious pleb. What can I say ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Well I just had an arguement with my sis about makeup being only for woman or not. Personally I think makeup is unisex, it's for anyone that wants to use, not just female. Hell, I'm male and I use makeup sometimes (fuck puberty and it's shitty acne ways). But I'm curious about the sexuality part. Now I feel like there's a stereotype that men who wear makeup is gay, which I argued to my sister that it isn't true. I figure if any gender can use it, that applies for sexuality as well. It'd be really fucking ridiculous if not. Also what's your opinion about wearing it in general? Some people find that girls/guys wearing makeup is disgusting because they think it's a "fake". I'm fine with woman/men wearing makeup no matter how much it is because I have no idea what they go through and maybe it's just a hobby they enjoy. (Don't take anything said on this post offensive as stated before I'm just a curious pleb.)
P.s: Any other straight male fudanshis out there? :(
Am I an only one?
The pressed bitches thinking that make-up is "fake" are just jealous because they can't afford it. Male celebrities use make up all the time and nobody gives a shit. Plus, make up can boost up one's confidence so if they feel like wearing it to feel better about themselves, I don't see a problem about it. It's their fucking skin lol
It's mostly if it's overdone makeup then it's obvious and too flashy or simply gaudy and gives off the aura of "Nouveau Riche." It may also be the change of fashion towards more "natural" or "no make-up, make-up" styles since everyone uses makeup anyway nowadays. Another big thing that people tend to miss though is that make up is a LUXURY ITEM. It's so ingrained in some people's life styles that they think it's a need, instead of what it actually is, which are a economical goods to better one's appearance.
Males have the harsher standards of needing to accept how they look, deal with the punches since it's commonly women who try to one up each other in how they look. Guys are almost socially forced to only being able to improve themselves by more natural measures and somehow makeup is cheating, even though it's fine for women to "cheat."
Practically every Korean male and female put on makeup or at least have a skin care routine.(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ Views differ depending on which part of the world you're in I guess.
Make up is for everyone. That saying is just a stupid sterotype. Guys can wear makeup no matter what sexuality they are. I've seen many male idols who are straight and be wearing eyeliner, foundation, eye shadow, etc and they be popin'
makeup can also be used as art too
Also "fake" my ass. Girls wear makeup for themselves, they ain't doing it to impress someone. I wouldnt care about someone''s stupid ass opinion about my makeup, I didn't prepare this for you hun
straight men who wear makeup probably exist but I never once saw a guy wearing makeup who isnt gay or bi. Most men who like makeup are gay-bi. It's a fact. Thats why ppl think a guy who wear makeup=gay
Maybe if more straight men were open about liking feminine stuff and less obsessed with their masculinity there would be less discrimination idk. Im a guy too but gay and I use sometimes foundation, light pink-red lipstick ,eyeliner and dark eyeshadows and Idgaf about what ppl think bc I look hella cute and I dont live to please them basic hos
Btw men in the past used to wear makeup and even heels
Boy, makeup is for everyone. Like I know some males who think facial cleansing products are like an extension of makeup
Umm the female symbol was supposed to be the emoji where I slap my forehead. Yup, it didn't show well
Make up is a must for anyone who does tv, modeling, cosplay. Does that make your local news castor or weather guy gay? How bout the goth kid with all the eyeliner? probably not gay. Our founding fathers wore make-up all the time. Guys in the eighties wore make-up as a sign of rebellion.
Its a stupid artificial social construct and in no way indicates the sexual orientation of the participant.
I was on my way to a bus stop when I noticed a mother sitting by herself with her baby, and decided to keep her company while I waited for the bus to arrive. (I'm a 16 yr old male, a loner at that, and have no experience socializing let alone with people with children so it was awkward af). I noticed people were giving the mother glares and awkward gestures which I tried ignoring until it became too far and a trio came humiliating her. I understand that people may be uncomfortable about the fact that she's breastfeeding in public, but the part that you have to go as far as humiliating her and shaming her is ridiculous. A mother is doing her role on keeping her child healthy. It's okay to feel disgusted/uncomfortable about it (emotions is what makes us human). I just don't understand why people promote humiliation and shame for something so little. I mean, put yourself in the mother's shoes, the baby is hungry it's not her fault, I bet if she had options she would choose to do it at home or away from the public. Idk, how do you guys feel about this? I just wanna see some opinions.
(As revenge for humiliating the mother, I spilt my coke on one of the girls. :D and gave the mother my sweater to help cover up because it was cold and she already used her jacket for her baby. That mom was really nice)
I think they're mainly arguments about modesty and the health aspects of breast feeding randomly, germs and stuff. Personal preference, I still hear my older sister complain about when my mom was breast feeding me, then again we're at that age of "to make a baby or to not make a baby" her discomfort is unexplainable it's just an emotion of surprise I guess. My mom was the more "anal" type and was quite sanitary when we were growing up so I think she was the type to encourage breastfeeding safety in a room. Modesty aspect, we're also Asian so there's this weird enigma that cleavage is a no-no, but those Korean ass shorts are fine. Attempting to make it look like you have legs for days is ok I guess (?) but shun thy boobies heathen.
It really doesn't matter how it's done. Discomfort or not it only matter is someone's gonna be a pansy and complain audaciously.
All in all I'm just saying it's fine to be comfortable or uncomfortable about it, people though shouldn't try to socially correct someone who doesn't give a fuck.
Aw, very nice of you, I feel sorry for the mother. I can say people nowadays have no empathy, selfish and so rude. Their view of life is so narrow. If there's a public breastfeeding room, maybe the mother can breastfeeding her child in there. But the mom is kinda wrong tho' for open her aurat in public even if she's breastfeeding, she should cover it so people didn't pay attention for it.
Breastfeeding is natural. Women should be able to feed their hungry children wherever. People should learn how to mind their business and look away if they find it disturbing.
What kind of "people nowadays" are you hanging around with? Middleschoolers?
The second half of the message was fine, but the first part... I've worked retail for years but I still wouldn't give the general public a bad generalization because then that's just hypocritical.
Where do u live bruh? The world is filled with parasitic beings. Also good people, but the trend is ....
I'm assuming you're in America since your English reads a lot like American English. With that said, Americans can't tell the difference between nudity and sex. Meaning, to them, any part of the human body is synonymous with sex. They see sex when exposed to bare skin instead of human body parts. That's one of the reasons why people shame mothers for breast feeding in public. Breasts exist mainly to feed children but American media has brainwashed their viewers to see breasts as only sexual organs and nothing else. It's quite sad when you think of it.
I somewhat agree with you. But I wouldn't say it dumb of people to think of the human body as a giant walking sex organ. In the last three decades, since the sex revolution with the hippies, American media has been bombarding people with sexualized images of women and men. The old trick: "sex sells" is still in use. A lot of kids are growing up with the message that their bodies exist solely for sex and it leads them to see nothing but sex. You now have three generations of Americans who have grown up with this kind of media and thinks it's ok because it's all they've ever seen on TV, ads, and social media. Just look at Disney, they have little preteens acting out romance plot lines and kissing on screen. Some of the things Disney does is almost borderline child porn but parents still let their kids watch and Disney makes a shit ton of money.
I am completely bias here. I personally believe that the mother can breastfeed her baby in public. She used her jacket to warm the baby so she couldn't cover up, but breastfeeding in public is more or less like the people who wear short skirts or topless. Another thing, breastfeeding is very beneficial for the young children as it developed a bond between the mother and the child in which will allow the child to be more mentally developed; hence, breastfeeding should not be shamed or look down upon.
And I shall be speaking assuming those three are young girls? I do see why religion may play a role in this, but mostly arrogant. They shouldn't see breastfeeding in public as a sinful thing, be as a model. If they (the girls) shame that woman, what are they seeing themselves in the future with their own kids or hear that some young people did it to their daughters? Maybe the mother couldn't afford milk and have to breastfeed the baby or it could've been a number of causes for her to breastfeed her child in public. And also, when a baby is hungry, the baby is hungry. Would you rather have a crying baby or a mother simply breastfeed? I personally choose breastfeeding bc crying would be more awkward and mentally stressful.
I am grateful that you where able to help out the woman and even offered your jacket, it was very kind of you. We need more people like you. Bc I am a woman, I would love to have someone like you looking out for me and my fellow women.
The funny thing is that it's only in American media. You hardly see this kind of aggresive sexual advertising in Europe, Asia, Africa, and other parts of the world. Europeans even complain that Americans can't separate the two. That's what led me to analyzing American media instead of just accepting it. A European classmate made a comment about how obsessed our culture is with sex and started pointing things out whenever he saw a sexualized ad or something. It was rather annoying but it was also a really big eye opener.
