Came back to reread this and I just realized how weird the pacing is (imo at least) And I also think that MC constantly has personality changes, everything seems a little bit rushed and some things arent explained any further? Don't get me wrong I still love this story, characters are great and well designed. I also love MC's relationship with his family and Jerry but the pacing just seems strange and things that should've taken 1 or 2 more chapters to be explained was compacted into 1.
Let me emphasize that this isn't hate towards the author and story but just slight confusion on my part. (￣∇￣")
Yeah I imagine it was difficult to balance getting in plot details from the novel and getting enough romantic interaction since that tends to be more of the focus in mahwas. I also thought the pacing was a little weird and the interactions between the mc and ml almost felt like a whole separate story that kept interrupting the plot. Time to check out the novel I guess lol
