I found Clark's thoughts and feelings about Alex very uh dark and questionable at the same time. As readers we can tell just how influential Clark's manipulation methods are, as he quite literally manipulated Alex into loving him without him himself feeling anything for him. Clark's feelings went from questionable and dark to just dark as he killed Alex to avenge Oliver. I like how the author fabricated the story and didn't make it entirely just smut.
