There’s just other spelling of quiet because I often see they type quite instead of quiet(pls correct me if I’m wrong tho). It kinda bothers me a little every time I see that(〜￣△￣)〜
quite is different from quiet, quite is like "Oh it quite loud outside since it's new year" quiet is "I want to have a quiet new year"

It's not "absolutely", it's more synonymous to "somewhat". Absolutely is a lot stronger than quite.
Quite is mostly a words indicating sounds. Precisely low in the sounds or voice volume, but can be used like your example.
