I feel like my heart was just ripped out of my chest and torn into a million pieces. Everything about this story was perfect: The art, the characters, the plot. And then they just had to start a new arc and end it a few chaps later... This had the potential to be a much longer, fleshed out series, but instead, the story was wrapped up and thrown away. I get the feeling the author wanted to start something new because there is no reason the series should've end with so many loose ends. What a waste of effort.

I usually like these types of dynamics, but it was so poorly executed here that it's not even enjoyable. It's like stereotypical ecchi. Everything seems normal majority of the time but then it suddenly switches to fanservice mode and adds random out of place scenes that aren't inherently sexual but have sexual overtones. It's constantly hyping up this forbidden relationship, but once you get to the reveal, it's so underwhelming since you've already seen it a million times before. The plotline? Nowhere to be seen. The art? Mediocre at best. And the translations? So shit that I can barely what they're saying half the time. Moral of the story, even if you're a childfucker, pedo, or whoever the prime audience is supposed to be, you're not going to enjoy it unless cheap fanservice is your cup of tea. Absolute waste of time and I regret hoping it would get better.

I love Higa so much!! (੭´ ᐜ `)੭⁾⁾ He reminds me of myself when I was his age. Always a good day when Shota Onii updates.

I also like Higa!!
Might be cause I also had friends that are like him growing up. But we need them!!
I was more like Tsubaki as a kid, while my one friend insisted we should have our Barbie and Ken dolls have sex and stuff... LOL then I passed on the knowledge to another friend. And we all just never played with barbies uh..."normally" again. (▰˘◡˘▰) Then there's the one that showed us her dad's porno collection while her dad wasn't at home... yepp.

I could rant about this series for hours. It's genuinely the best representation of trauma I've ever read. All the characters are so distinct and something that makes them realistic that I don't usually see is that the "good" characters make mistakes too. As someone who usually reads hurt/no comfort, seeing the characters actually improve and get better has made me want to shed tears of joy. I love this series so much and there is not a single thing I dislike about it. I love the art. I love the characters. And I love the lessons it teaches Seto and the reader.
Rest in peace all the soldiers who didn't know what scat was
