Came here for the horror but couldn't even finish it thanks to the female lead who chooses to be ignorant even though she had to witness several events related to the spiral. Like, people she knew are dying because of it, her bf is on the verge of going crazy, her father too went crazy to a certain point. And she could not be bothered about it.
Gave up on the anime the moment they made "Sakae" try and murder Abeno. Sakae's fatherly instinct was replaced with evil. And don't even get me started with the animation and sound quality. Something is off about it, can't pinpoint it though. The first season hooked me into this manga. But the second season disappointed me. So sticking with the manga.
Wait, did Ashiya unknowingly use his influence again?
I don't think so. It seemed like a moment where he sympathised with the demon house, who is just discovering what it is and its connections to the living; Similarly, Hanae is now starting to realize that he doesn't really understand who/what he is himself. He's human, yes, but he has supernatural powers that he's only suddenly gained since starting that school year.
It's probably startling and unnerving to suddenly discover something so large and unique about yourself, but know nothing about it----and only having Itsuki as a reference to whether it's normal or not doesn't exactly help with coming to terms with those sudden developments??
In other words, it was just a moment of recollection of his and the house's similarities. Kind of like a flashback?
I'm so sad for our baby though ! He thinks he's creepy!
That chibi is what? Of the Underworld princess? What !!??!!!
