I mean, obviously we end up feeling better because there’s a happy ending, but Kou was such a jerk.
That game thing was absolutely such a jerk move, it was going so well... so why put that as a plot twist ugh. And Shinobu was so vulnerable after the heartbreak, it was awful.
Happy that Kou changed, but he was still a complete asshole. :)

Sad we couldn’t have a lot more of the second couple but the first one was still sooo sweet.
