This just doesn't make any sense. Doc has no self-respect, but didn't some flashbacks show that he was SA'd in his previous job? It never made sense for me that he would just be okay with J's literal rape. Shouldn't that make Doc relieve a whole lot of drama???

And as this goes on, I just hate the plot even more. There are only excuses for J but no one who calls his bs out. And for Doc, how many other comments already said: This is just some weird kind of Stockholm Syndrome.

I am only still reading this because I need to know if the get together. Hopefully they don't.
