Havent finished yet and maybe wont bc I just cant do historical fiction, but it's really strong story wise, character wise, atmosphere wise, all of that. The art is clean and gorgeous, and the setting is one I rarely if ever see in BL
This was such a unique experience with such grounding and realism and then I scroll to the authors other works and its friggin Mobyama Aji and Mobtani Crou and I.... this author has RANGE
This left me with so much else I wanted to see. Like Shiki's past. Kon's past. Their future after the 3 years and beyond. That doctor they called for. Whoever the frick the owner of the brothel is. Also genuinely wanted to see more of Kon's life in the human realm and more on why he hates humans.
So much...
The whole fuckbuddies conclusion feels outta character for Jin. Like yeah Hayato might be an idiot and say it, but Jin's got too much straightforward himbo energy to let that slide.
And now we gotta toss the fuckin paparazzi into the mix because the relationship drama isnt enough.
Was really enjoying this one for the dumb, lightly angsty fluff that it was.
