Can someone clarify to me, is he calling him sir bc he sees him as the past lover or is he addressing taehyuk. I’m concerned now that he has his memories back he won’t view taehyuk as taehyuk anymore and now just sees him as his old lover
its both. hes calling him sir bc thats what he called taehyuk in his past life, but also bc for him its normal to be formal with your loved one. especially if that loved one is one you're married to. he knows taehyuk isnt the exact same as the lord he first fell for, he just uses formal language because that was how he was taught to talk to someone hes married to. this is all my assumptions by the way. its just how i see it as someone who can speak korean.
I think in korean language it was more of "nari" or my lord in english translation it's what korean commoners back in that era woukd call the aristocrats, I think "my lord" is much befitting than "sir"

In my case I think there was only one manhwa "eternal covenant" that i worry like what you said above and i dropped that already but I feel like you don't have to worry about that in this manhwa atleast thats my take on it on for this story's future
