To everyone saying that ash is being inconsiderate, ash NEVER had any sort of relationship with hazel nor did they ever intent to marry or bond. Their friends are just assholes. If I was madly in love with my partner why would I bring up an ex I didn’t even care about nor ever thought about to my partner?? Yeah clarification would be great but ash didn’t know about any of those rumors in the first place. Those friends are just fucking assholes that need to be destroyed. I love Lyle but his deep internalization and refusal for clarification is also a problem here it hurts but he needs to learn to trust his partner more
