Nope. I like everyone but Yura. I used to hate Taeoh until he actually grew up, unlike Yura. Yeosob does not make his problems everyone else' like Yura does. Yura complains about the fakeness of everyone else while being a faker herself. Victim blamer and hypocrite. What IS there to like about her?
I can't understand how someone can like a bully like Yura but not her victims. That will confuse me to the end of time.
I guess I like the motif of beauty in art generally so that's why I like it here as well. She is a person with a perfect physical apearance and well aware of it. Yet she resents her looks and her own life for the most part, she is a person who wishes she was average in a world where everyone craves to be unique. Normally you'd think that a person that smart and that pretty would have everything going for them in life, but it's the opposite...she's a very tragic character. Her looks have made her realise that people only value what's on the outside, while no one cares to know how she thinks or feels.
Because she felt like no one cares about her true self she put up walls to protect her heart. By watching people being fake around her and only using her for personal gain, she decided to do the same. Unlike everyone around her she isn't fake...she is just acting fake to fit in. It's better to hurt than to get hurt. She KNOWS that she is being a hypocrite, but she needs to put on airs in order not to be ostracized again. I guess she just strikes me as a good person who does bad things (and i looove that!).
Also Anon, she is a victim too, she has been lonely and miserable her whole life, not to mention that finally she had her face sliced and almost lost an eye! It just feels like her fate was sealed from the start and bad things are drawn to her.
Honestly, I thought that she was gonna go crazy after getting disfigured, cuz her face was her biggest asset and the only thing that anyone ever liked about her, but she didn't. It goes to show how truely strong she is and never cared about her own beauty in the first place.
