The doll was stolen from the employees house which she believes is the reason why her mom died because no more doll = no more benefits/ safety for their home. She works at the hotel and sees the doll that used to be theirs and decides to not follow the instructions so it will kill the hotel owner for stealing it. End scene is the doll back at her home
More like once the doll leaves, it took the previous owner life as payment (sacrifices) for having helped making their business booming.

Yeah⊠she just barely got introduced and is already getting a backstory even when the author hasnât given us time to emotionally connect with this character, it just seems so random that I donât care enough for this character. Not because sheâs not one of the two girls, but because sheâs still basically an npc to us who hasnât even been introduced to the story well⊠it just seems to early to start a backstory for her for us to care.
