Honestly the seme is giving huge tsundere vibe, but I think it just doesn’t pair that well with this storyline. Seeing that the uke is sick, broke and an orphan (pick a struggle damn), the seme feels like a ‘cruel’ man. I do think from his pov he thinks he genuinely is killing it and being kind. I interpret the way he acts like he doesnt want the uke to feel burdened, the way he pays all the expensive bills and asks for a small and cheap favor in return (like cheap ramen, a drive etc etc). Hence he thinks he’s treating him like a equal when in reality the uke needs more then equality he needs to be taken care of, spoiled, loved etc.

Honestly I get where the uke is coming from, being able to save yourself and your family from poverty by being with a guy thats handsome and rich even if he is crazy is not that unrealistic. I mean people irl be doing the most crazy shit to be out of poverty, even doing everything to just be middle-class. Also with the toxic attachment naturally coming into the relationship this is (I think) very realistic to what happens irl.
First time I love a second lead this much, there are other stories where the second leads are also good people but somehow get annoying. Joon is the best one i’ve seen up until now, he saw his friend get treated well, 0 drama, 0 convincing he just let them be AND didnt even ruin there friendship or disappeared (I also dont like when they do this it still feels like the somehow blame the MC for not chosing them).
And the main lead isn't trying to stop their friendship even though he is jealous.
This is so true too! Love how they handled it
