So, as far as I know in Greek the word “páthi” means “suffering” originating from 16th century Greek’s “pathos”. In English, ‘pathos’ is also a word for ‘bringing sorrow’ or ‘evoking grief/sadness’, but in this manga is it used to refer to blood? Or pleasure through pain? Bittersweet love? Unrequited love? Or am I missing something? I was thinking for a while and it’s been bothering me why the author would use the word ‘pathos’ but anyone else have an idea?
I was reading this like “Woah, a realistic manga like this exists??” And then I read the afterword and realised it was based on a true story. But was still such a beautiful story about the hardships of a gay man and as a gay man myself I can relate to so many things in this.
I can’t remember the details of what happened ╥﹏╥. But that many new chapters at once?? GODAMN. Thank u uploader-san. I will still be forever waiting for onodera’s confession
