So Sasha is the twin of the crown prince. I kind of figured that, but not necessarily the crown prince, although it makes sense. It also went with my theory that Sasha was the catalyst for it all, not necessarily the cause, which is why I still think that they could be endgame. It was very obvious that it was unintentional, and caused him a lot of guilt. I'm not saying FMC should forgive him, but due to all of the evidence, and him going out of his way to correct his wrong, just automatically makes him better. As for why he waited so long, maybe everything needed to fall into place? FMC had to be in a position where she could be able to take such a risk (clearing her debt), but also mentally preparing herself. I still believe they should be endgame though, I don't think it's a romance novel tho....

Like if it was me, I would have definitely would have gotten the Duke on my side. I think her main downfall was going crazy with the maids the first time (which honestly I would have too), but not guilting the Duke enough. For example,

"What do I have to do with my unclean wrongdoings?"

"How could you say that about my family? Just because I was born I am adorned by the sin?"

"I never once hated you. I've done nothing wrong. You starve me and your maids mistreat me. I'm just a pawn

Payne it wouldn't have worked well, but I'd also think to they to make that work, and Sergio(?) my faithful night. Same with Ellie, they definitely did her so wrong. She's done nothing wrong after everything was taken away from her due to selfishness...

Where was the S/M in any of this? It was more like D/S if ANYTHING, and very light at that. When he came back from the bar, I thought that seme would have spanked (and THEN fucked) the uke, showing a bit of punishment and even briefly going into the sadistic and masochistic world.
