It's a shame the translation is so awkward. No offense, but this was definitely the basic Google Translate treatment. It really stood out to me on this page, where Iku says, "Do you need to hear everything?" In Japanese, ask/hear are the same word, but it's clear through context that he should be saying "ask." Google sucks at context so it assumed "hear." http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/23_45_re/uu/23_45_re-chapter-4/46/
I've read 4 chapters of this and only just realized Kobayashi's giant eyebrows http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/hashi_no_xl_saizu/mi/d_chapter-4/pg-18/
But now I'm wondering, what am I doing with my life? I'm already this old and have accomplished nothing with my art ):
I remember this line from Chihayafuru, where one of the characters said that it's not the matter if the fire started early, what matters is how long it's gonna be and how big it will be. (⌒ - ⌒)
Don't compare yourself with others. Things will happen in their own time.
I hope so. I guess I just have to stay healthy so I can live long enough :'D
I try not to, but in a world where people are praised for success at a young age, it's hard not to think I must be failing as I get older and older TwT
While doing your art. Heck, you might have nice art but you just lack the opportunity (I personally know individuals who's arts are comparable to manga artists' but don't just have any means to publish).
It's tough, these days becoming a successful artist is 50% artistic skill, 50% marketing and luck. I will keep drawing, though!
That's the spirit! It'd be nice if I could see your artwork someday~
Thanks! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
