
This is a bit off-topic but I just saw many comments criticizing this author (and probably many others)'s intention of normalizing rape, which I agree is actually a crime and could adversely affect reader's perception. However, it also strikes me that we are, in a sense, doing the very same thing of normalizing other crimes like brutal killing (in many horror stories) and kidnapping, torturing (in Killing Stalking), yet people call them "masterpieces", "a great reflection of life" and stuff. So is something similar to the so-called "double standards" going on in this world of manga and should we forbid the dissimilation of all these obscene types of stories? Just wanna discuss a bit...
