I like how it was a isekai story but i think that plot is very flat and unnecessary cause it really doesn’t add anything other than giving mc a slight personality change. I think her just losing her memory would’ve done the same thing. I wish they did something with the isekai plot than what it is. Also I do not like the ml like he rl just shows why she hates who he pretends to not be. I do enjoy the mc and all other characters i just think the ml is kinda lame. Nd his personality isnt that good hopefully they do something with the isekai plot tho.

Nothing of sort. The father is taking care of them as best as he could, not by terms of "equality". Favoritism is only half correct. Why? Since first, Mabel is a child born from him and his greatest love(Sianna) and obviously will make Mabel more precious than Oscar. And secondly, he respects any boundaries or promises set by the mothers of his children (thought not explicitly implicated). With this reasoning, if he shows overtly care to Oscar similar to what he's been doing with Mabel, Oscar might harbor complicated feelings towards it since it's conflicting with how his mother had him onset.
With that, all I can say is that he's a good father. He's taking good care of them appropriate of the circumstances the children have.

Most of the things I can excuse the ml for like killing the fl family cause although they treated her like garbage he didnt know that for all he knows they couldve been a loving family but it’s still okay since thats the norm for back then. What I can’t get behind is how he didnt care for his younger sister at all? If this was from Alice POV we would all dislike the ML because he ignored alice and shes malnourished nd neglected but he started caring once the fl came along. Actually I think he does care about Alice but he can’t really be open about it. He sent Siana over there specifically because he knew she would be able to take good care of and help Alice-something he isn’t able to do. A lot of the themes of this story are about how politics affect family; he cares for his sister but like stated in the story, you can never really be too close to your siblings in an environment like that one. Even him helping out Alice is considered a “business transaction” by HER. It’s likely that she would never be able to open her heart to him, so he looked for someone who was more suitable-someone who wouldn’t be considered a political rival, where openly carong for her wouldn’t paint a target on her back. Just think about it; him going over to visit more often immediately triggered Yvette to attempt to bully Alice, and when the Empress dowager showed open favour to Alice Yvette sent over poisoned dessert. Openly loving and caring for her would have probably painted a target on Alice’s back whether he wanted to or not. And it’s not like he can be there all the time to watch over her either since he’s out killing families and felling kingdoms. (Though it does seem like he has more free time now) also I think it’s hinted in Alice’s dialogue that he actually did come to see her a few times she just doesn’t trust him

I also agree had to drop this awhile ago because just the premise of the story and they way everyones first thought about the fl is just something inherently sexual just feels so washed out boring and forced. I actually really love this manga and I like the diagrams and the troubles and it seem realistic and I love it but when I read, I’m like damn is this all only about Lolita like I feel like this is supposed to be symbolism for something else or a metaphor or maybe it just that the representation in this matches a lot of different things that goes on in society. I really love this And I really hope to see more of the couple like a side story or something that shows her future because I don’t know if this is the ending, but I really hope I wanna know her teaching route goes
