Nah I agree with the people fuck that guy, his kid isn't the most important person in town and it's the fucking apocalypse so ensuring the survival of the people who can get supplies is more important.

yea but the mc valid cause if he had a chance to save his family by stealing medicine, I think he would do it. also what makes soldiers more deserving of medicine than kids? sure they can protect people, but a kid hasn't even gotten the chance to grow up, I think it's more these people have a "survive no matter the cost" mindset and are giving up their empathy to achieve that. would guwon kill the mc, his so called "one and only in the entire world," for stealing medicine for a child who is gonna die of sickness? if he would that's not someone teach would want to be with so yeah smack that bitch
I remember reading this manhwa back in early 2024 and dropping it soon after.
Recently I picked it up again and for the life of me I couldn't remember why I stopped reading it, I mean the story is great, the artstyle and suspense all of it.
So I went and read the raws and all the reasons came back to me.
For the past year this manhwa has been stuck in flashback hell. There's 20-30 chapters of no development back to back with no end in sight. I wouldn't even mind it if it were interesting, scary and full of suspense like the chapters before, but it's all so boring. Does it give more context as to why the characters are the way they are? Sure, but it really isn't that interesting, there's no twists and turns and we could derive all of the information from context clues and conversations which had already happened in previous chapters.
I'd go as far as to say that these new chapters take away some, if not most, of the mystery and horror of the pre flashback story. It was much scarier when the shared past of the main characters was vague and told in between lines, left for the reader to imagine, as it is it's just incredibly dull and uninspiring.
Normally I don't expect much from BLs but this one was just so incredibly written, but I guess it had to fall into the manhwa trope of "the readers are stupid and illiterate so we have to spell out the backstory for them god forbid we leave something up for interpretation".
I'm so disappointed.
I get it. The author was portraying a different genre in the start. Now its more like a toxic co-dependency psycho thriller. No horror vibes. Luckily for me I enjoy both.
