I said this in another comment too. It's true that there are "worse" characters, but you have to consider the whole context... Maybe other characters considered toxic are still interesting somehow, or they have some good sides, or maybe the story itself overshadows them, etc. Jaekyung is a character that simply doesn't make sense in my opinion, he has no personality, no facets... The story is just him being an as*hole the whole time, constantly attacking and insulting Dan for literally no reason, of course he just gets hate... I mean, can you even imagine a nice/positive comment? I think the comment section would just be empty...

He's the only one real, yelling at them cuz they are acting stupid over their own mistakes, they were assuming something about their ex cuz they prioritize what people say about them instead of communicating, he's harsh but atleast in the end mc is rethinking about his choises so a win is a win

Zombie apocalypse due to virus infection. Mc and ml found each other when trying to survive. They fell in love. Then they found mc's best friend, bully and parents plus some other survivors and researchers. They found out mc's blood is immune to the virus. Vaccine was successfully made with his blood hence they are finding ppl to cure. They went to find supplies but due to the zombies mutating into various mutants, the zombies are stronger so they're harder to beat. Mc got bitten so he's transforming to one. The others at the research lab are curing ppl, unfortunately they cured an ungrateful bastard that proceeded to complain and trash the area, including the barriers formed ard the building, then setting it on fire. One of the beautiful ladies wants to save him out of there so she's still in the burning building. Mc is waking up as an infected but eventually wakes up and is conscious again.
