genetically speaking its not possible at all since black is the dominant gene and his parents are blondes which are recessive but we’re reading fiction so all science goes out the window
But ml is his uncle so genetically speaking maybe he got the grandparents genes? there are cases where a child is more similar to grandparents, uncles or even great grandparents
The alleles of genes can sometimes skip some generations, so it's not totally impossible for him to have his grandparents/or even further, hair colour (let's assume it was black) and not his parent's.
this topic got me looking into punnet squares again so some more science i found out it IS possible only because there are such things as hidden alleles apparently, which on a super rare chance, combine and thus the parents will have a dark haired child so luc gets off on this one.
but yeah this is a super rare chance that like most people will never see since blonde is the recessive allele meaning the parents shouldn’t be carrying any allele for dark hair bc if they did it would dominate the blonde but it seems here we tread the more complicated territory of hidden alleles (7th grade science never talks about the cool stuff)

SPOILERS: current emperor (although he look fine when he was in his prime..) what a incredibly abusive disgusting “father” who didnt care about his blood daughter and only cared about abusing the fck out of rezef. The empress was literally the same, just with ceyena instead. And raph’s father was literally the exact same, gave zero fcks about rezef and abused raph to hell. Raphs mother is also shitty. holyyy fuck- just read chapter 33 and it got even more dark and twisted which I didn’t think was possible. Idk why people are giving this low reviews, it’s absolutely amazing and just a gripping story. The shitty guy aint the ML so its all good dw. It’s going to be interesting to see how the characters deal with their respective trauma.

Could be but I remember when it didn’t have many chapters yet and people were already dropping this and giving it one star also hating our FL, calling her stupid etc but these people don’t understand the psychological manipulation and grooming she’s been through! THIS is a very realistic story but people don’t like reality instead they want our FL to suddenly be this superrr smart and badass heroine but that’s not how it goes…

isn't this just postpartum depression? It went untreated along with just regular depression and a whiplash of things happening in her life (father-in-law's death, father's death, husband at war, not being able to see friends and family, worried for her sister who was now a royal ect.). If ppd gets bad, and the situation worsens, the object of her hate would be her child. PPD causes you to do that. I don't think she's consciously hating Vincente (ofc this doesn't take away her wrongdoings).
