so far not much difference yet since there's only one vol of the revised one out (I'm assuming you mean the one with the black/red cover). there're some speculations that rated part might have some changes (but at the Q&A section, there was a part where it said you shouldn't read it with your parents so Idk haha). guess we'll have to wait to see?

I read from a discussion thread that there are some time changes, and that the revised version has a lot less smut. Some other events have changed as well.



[SPOILER] Based from what I read from the thread, in the old version, WWX took only 3 months to develop/master demonic cultivation. Jiang Cheng's family was killed after the Qishan Wen sect essentially invaded the Yunmeng Jiang sect. During the time frame when WWX disappeared and then came back, Jiang Cheng took the same amount of time to rebuild his sect. In the revised version, it was changed to 3 years, which makes more sense. Some people also said that in the revised version, Lan Sizhui was able to remember his past and relay it to WWX and LWJ. Another thing that I noticed myself was that how we learn about Jin GuangYao's past was revealed differently. In the old version, we learn it through some customer from an inn, who lived in the city where Jin GuangYao lived when he was younger (I might be wrong about this guy's identity because I used Google Translate... lol). The guy might be the innkeeper or something. Not sure, but he was a really old guy who remembered JGY's mother's reputation. In the revised version, WWX learns about it from the fierce corpse of a prostitute who used to work with the mother through the use of Empathy.

There's most likely more differences, but that's just some I found.

Yeah, the first sex scene in the novel should be the upcoming chapter for Exiled Rebels. People noted that in the revised version, it is a lot tamer than the old one, which I think was more detailed and smuttier. I think the author had to cut back on it due to censorship. Not sure, I know the author address why she made changes and stuff in an author's note on the last chapter, but I did not read the whole thing.
